About us

The Pink Ladies of Argyll was born from a simple idea: that no woman should have to face breast cancer alone.

Founded in 2013 by breast cancer survivor Nicky Murphy, the organisation began with a single event called Pink Ladies Day. Nicky recognised that while medical treatment is essential, many women across Argyll were returning home after diagnosis and treatment feeling isolated, particularly in our rural and island communities where support can often be difficult to access.
