DESCRIPTION:Pink Ladies Day is the flagship event of the Pink Ladies of Argyll and the inspiration behind our charity. \nEstablished in 2014\, the event was created to bring together women affected by breast cancer for a day dedicated to wellbeing\, friendship and support. What began as a small gathering has grown into a much-loved annual event\, welcoming women from across Argyll and the Isles. \nDesigned to offer a break from the challenges of diagnosis\, treatment and recovery\, Pink Ladies Day provides a safe\, uplifting and welcoming environment where women can connect with others who truly understand their journey. It doesn’t matter how long ago – every woman who has experienced cancer\, living in Argyll is welcome. \nThe day includes a range of activities focused on wellbeing and confidence\, including: \n\nHolistic therapies and relaxation treatments:\n– Massage\, Reiki\, Reflexology and Facials\nHealth and wellbeing activities:\n– Yoga\, Pilates\, Sound Bath and Mindfulness\nHair\, Make-up and Nails\nLunch\, refreshments and social time\nOpportunities to connect and share experiences\nSwim\, Sauna & Jacuzzi\n\nFor many women\, Pink Ladies Day is more than just an event. It is an opportunity to build friendships\, gain support\, boost confidence and celebrate strength and resilience alongside others who have faced similar challenges. \nMade possible by the generosity of volunteers\, therapists\, businesses and supporters. This would not be possible without the incredible fundraising from our friends and family throughout the year and the grants given from businesses and organisations (see more on our fundraisers page) \nPink Ladies Day remains at the heart of everything we do and continues to remind women throughout Argyll that they are never alone. \nA day to connect\, celebrate and be supported. 💗
